Sunday Mar 2

Running warm up/down 8:00 [2] 1.0 mi (7:59 / mi) +63m 4:09 / km
slept:8.0 shoes: Decathlon Kalenji Kapteren XT
Run from home to Hunters bar roundabout and back.
Running 55:40 [4] 6.71 mi (8:17 / mi) +218m 4:41 / km
shoes: Decathlon Kalenji Kapteren XT
ShUOC fell race route up through the parks to the peaks (Fulwood Lane) Felt alright. Had a few short rests, but not many long ones (tightening shoes, one at the top, that kinda jaazz) 34mins to the top, passing Dr. Gilmour and far too many bikes for footpaths on the way back. Also worked out a few 'detours' that I feel may make it quicker for the next time we race it xD. (climb and distance from mapmyrun...)
Streching warm up/down 11:00 [2]
Stretch down to Streetlight

Saturday Mar 1

Orienteering (Norweigan/Map memory) 41:00 [2] ** 3 km (13:40 / km)
spiked:8/8c slept:6.5 shoes: Decathlon Kalenji Kapteren XT
SYO Rivlin event. Small but good piece of woodland. A map-memory course, though I did take the map with me for when I got lost. Which was fairly often (e.g. choosing the wrong wall to follow and ending up up to my knees in mud/bramble bashing up a steep hill to pretty much nowhere.) Route choice was shoddy, and overall I was pretty crap, but really enjoyed it. debating going to Crich tomorrow. Depends on whether my shoes dry off :p
Running warm up/down 5:00 [1]
Streching warm up/down 6:00 [2]
slept:2.0
just had a nice nap and all :)

Friday Feb 29

Note
slept:6.0
When I got back from labs it was blowing a gale and pissing it down, so stayed in on football manager/watching tv on the internet. Probably should have done at least something... oh well.

Thursday Feb 28

Note
slept:7.0 (rest day)
Thursdays is a bad day to do anything. Lectures from 11, so I sleep in, followed by a lab which (invariably) goes on until 5, then back home for food/giggles, then out to SingSoc, maybe with pub afterwards. Met Hollykins at the union after singsoc, so went for a few drinks with her to catch up before she headed off to the long blondes, and I went home to watch Rocky3 and enjoy the fun and games of 'hide all our stuff' back at the house.

Wednesday Feb 27

Orienteering 39:00 [3] ** 5 km (7:48 / km)
spiked:17/17c slept:8.0 shoes: Decathlon Kalenji Kapteren XT
Chasing sprint Prologue course in Eccy woods. Pootled a bit, but managed to get some map reading whilst running done! haha. Beat my Chasing Sprint time by a good 5mins at least - not bad considering lack of controls to see!
Running warm up/down 5:00 [1]
shoes: Decathlon Kalenji Kapteren XT

Tuesday Feb 26

Streching 8:00 [2]
slept:8.0
Start the day as you mean to go on! Bit stiff after circuits so stretched a bit. Lots of knotty muscles. mmm.
Running 36:00 [3] 4.79 mi (7:30 / mi) +70m 4:28 / km
shoes: Decathlon Kalenji Kapteren XT
Run on roads (mainley) and trails. Up Endliffe Vale road to Ranmoor, before going along Fulwood road to Fulwood. Cut down Brookhouse Hill and the track after it to near Whitley Woods (near the cafe on the ShUOC fell race), before running back through the parks. Ran through the woods in Bingham to make it nicer. Finished strongly up Riverdale Road, then Endcliffe Vale Road to home. Wind made it a bit chilly, but was a nice run. Felt good! Here's the route:

Tried to get Fazza to come out, but he made his excuses. Maybe if I'd told him I was going out earlier he may have come out. then again... :p
C • good effort man 2
Note
Also, first time I've used mapmyrun.com properly! And found out you can do elevations!
Elsewhere, really looking forward to BUSA and the JK.
