Note
rhr:40 slept:9.5 (rest day)

Managed to slightly pull the top of my left calf yesterday - after about 18km, but didn't really notice it for the remainder of the run home - good to know that a small niggle won't hit me too badly on the Skyline.
However it seized up a bit overnight.
Spent the day walking around Eyam Moor, then met the family for Sunday Lunch in the Barrel at Bretton, which was nice (and freee :D). Had a few minutes on Lucy's S&M ball when I got back; that and walking seems to have sorted it out a bit, will see how it feels tomorrow.

Bit of a manky day, but it was quite warm and perfect long-run conditions.
Met Hobbs at the Grindstone (wonder if the new owners will mind about the table?) and meandered towards Endcliffe. Headed up the valley to Ringinglow, through Lady Cannings (some clearance been going on) and onto Burbage. Intended to follow the trod to the edge, but as per managed to fluff it. Oh well, bonus terrain section! From Upper Bridge hit Higger and Stanage, taking the long route to the pole as neither of us fancied the direct line, going on how boggy Burbage was! Bit windy now so took shelter in Heather-Yew. Managed to loose my bearings and came out in some random place, but with a map check and compass in hand managed to get through the rest alright, popping out above the Redmires car park. Over the mines and down to the Headstone before heading back via the top of Wyming (group of medieval re-enacters, odd!) and Rivellin.

Felt pretty good throughout and OK the end. It may be a bit late to be starting long distance training ahead of the Skyline, but good to know that I can cover the distance (even with only 1/2 the vertical ascent...)

Was going to run in the evening but didn't have time. When I was the informed I would have had time it was too late. Fulfilled my time playing with condes as I'm soooo cool!
was feeling a bit full anyway- someone put a big box of cookies in the computer room and I was doing stats all day...

Running - Road 43:21 [3] 8.8 km (4:56 / km) +260m 4:18 / km
ahr:152 max:170 shoes: New Balance M849

Dropped the car off at sis's and ran up eccy road and ringinglow to High Storrs, down to the end of Bingham, up to Sandygate and back over Lydgate.
Felt proper odd at the end of Bingham, slightly dizzy with wobbly legs! hr seemed to be OK so had a little rest before puntering up to Sandygate.
Sped up the last 1.5km to get the overall pace down.

rhr:46 slept:7.0 weight:71.5kg (rest day)

spent 9.5 hours in the lab. Was going to head out but was ravenous once home, and once I hit the sofa there was no moving me! Probably a good idea as my knee was a bit twingy after yesterday.

Straight out of Labs, superman in the toilet then razzed it to Gooders, wu with the guys.

note - have now put my QRs of Sunday up. oops...
For starters - I think I need to see less green and red, and more Yellow. Then start turning the yellow to green.
Age-old running too quick for the nav problemo.

Knacked after my day but decided to make a last attempt on the Moving Box. Little time before darkness so drove out to Redmires. Felt much better after a nice, if slow, run.
Garmin died so back to the old Casio/MMR guesswork!
