Strapped on my most roomy toe-boxed shoes and went for a plod around Sherwood Pines. Eventually I was hobbling along at a fair pace and toe pain was not very evident. However overcompensating did result in the back of my left knee (hammy I think) becoming sore again.
Visited all the challenges. The days when I used to climb and easily haul my bodyweight against gravity are well gone. Onion firing was erratic.
Main thing I noticed was how poor my decision making, especially around the control circle, was at low speed. Tackling brambles/bracken at slow speed is also more difficult.
Big toe sore after 14+h cooped up in a shoe yesterday, very swollen (whole foot a bit swollen) which suggests my immune system is working at least. When the toe-nail goes it could get messy! Smaller toe showing some healing and a bit less ikkyness after a night in the air. Sleeping well courtesy of general exhaustion (didn't fall asleep during Dara O'Briain at city hall last night though) and Naproxen before bed.
