Lovely day. Took too long for me to get out the door, still feeling full from a late breakfast.

Up Parkin Clough then over Lose to Mam Tor, down to Edale, up Grindslow, around to Hope Cross, down towards Ladybower before a last climb up the back of Win Hill. Suffering a bit once on to Kinder, kept moving but not really enjoying it which is kind of the point at the moment.
Bailed out of a down'n'up (undergrowth providing me with an excuse) so made sure I did the last climb. At the top a group offered me a beer which I was sorely tempted by but a) i was only doing 30km and b) the drive home would not have been legal.

Peaks heaving, normally try to avoid the crowds but was interesting to see how busy it gets as never really experienced it on a wank holiday weekend.

Maybe a bit too much for a first week back, but want to get some climb in early as down in Cambridge quite a bit over next few weeks. Also will reign it in back end of this week with champs race in mind.

Graves parkrun - course no longer goes through the farm. Wow, 18.44 is pretty shocking. I wasn't expecting much but I got way less! Not meant to be good at this kind of stuff at the moment but still. Speed and lactate threshold lacking, but first week getting back to it, so an easy bar to clear over the winter

Hfw via reverse sheffield round route to Beauchief golf course. Feeling alright today, considered a race or session this evening, before seeing sense - only been feeling OK for 24h and am meant to be in build-up mode at the moment.

East Kinder from Snake Inn with Dan and Tom. Feeling tired and a bit hungry despite sleeping and eating OK. Got up to seal stones OK, dan moving well on way back from Crookestone. Incorrect 3min crossing, drifted too far right, need to check from the north.
