How not to Langdale Horseshoe.

Dan Dux has balls the size of spacehoppers allowing the full course to be done. I'm very pleased he did as it's fell running, not a knitting circle.

I also managed to leave all my kit (shows and socks excepted) in Cockermouth, so there was a rush to borrow kit. Thankfully a not-racing Hannah and the Findlay-Robinsons and Max were benevolent and I scraped some food together.

Anyway I felt pretty naff when running but got going a bit around Esk Hause. I then managed to lose any impetus by dropping waaay to low on both Bowfell and Crinkles. Just wasn't really at the races today physically or technically, but had a ball nonetheless! A good kick up the arse. The rough weather and poor vis should have played to my strengths.

Guts still haven't settled down fully since a bout of Delhi Belly in Morrocco. This hasn't really been helped by a bit too much beer since, and the itinerant living of this week has seen an increase in pasta/pizza/bread consumption.
