Duddon. Felt ok to start though not great down hill - went wrong off harter and droped a bit up Little Stand. Right bearing but wrong line to 3 shires. Then parked up going up wet side edge and food went in and jacket on as people streamed past. Was looking forward to a nice mince when, leaving Swirl How, mid stride my lightly sore ribs emitted a crack and became even more sore, so much so I couldn't do much more than walk.

I only had my lightweight jacket and that was already on, so thought I might be that dickhead who misjudges the weather. As it is it kept me warm enough to walk down via Walna Scar. Shame as the weather was right up my street, though there's no fitness and very little impetus there at the moment. Will take a few weeks off to see if the ribs heal (whatever it is that's wrong with them)

Easy with Han. It took a heavy dose of sugar to get me feeling perky enough to get out the door. Probably on a sugar crash after last week (3 words: bottomless Wilf's cakes) but felt ok once out.

Been a bit demob happy the last few weeks and need to get some structure and discipline back - more so I can just feel good in the hills and enjoy them more.
L ribs a bit sore from when I failed at indoor bouldering on Friday night.

Hrm and barometric altimeter on this fancy watch are currently just random number generators. Tbh the watch says my hr for this run was 124-167 avg 141, which seems about right. So why AP has changed this to avg 161 with a max of 224 is beyond me.

Bought a 'cross bike so I can 'crosstrain. Great fun.
16.9km bashing about the wood trails.

Have worked out altimeter issues (wrong settings). Suunto hr makes more sense than ap.
