The National. I fucking love The National. But I'd like a good hit at it after a few off years.
Snuck inside the top 400, which I thought would be about right considering. Started actually sensible and worked my way through, picking up places through the gloop on the last lap. Having Harold to chase, catch then and keep behind helped.

Felt the best I have for a while, starting to feel back towards normal. Quad overloaded a bit but not as much as it could, and ankle was fine in spikes. Roll on a steady build into fell season!

Tom Bridge out in force again.

Easy yan with Han. I offered to shelter her from the wind but she declined as since the dog arrived I must have been sleep-eating kibble as my farts smell like hers (the dog's, not Hannah's.)
Ankle feels pretty good. Opposite quad is blocked something shocking and I'm already scared of my next sports massage.
