O'Keefe "ultra half" Axedale to Heathcote. Hip sat in the corner all morning and niggled quietly. Surprise party pooper was the matching knee, which started hurting almost straight away, and threatened to collapse in the last kilometre. Nice run; just need to be a bit fitter.

52 km for the week. WIll be interesting to see how I pull up.

Hip is still rooted. Dr Jenny diagnosed tendon at top of hamstring, and prescribed ice, tape, and ibuprofen. Bought chocolate and alcohol.

Edit: sat on ice pack, ate chocolate and ibuprofen.

Boxkick "core blitz" session of my own devising. Did about three-quarters of it myself, partnering Kym. 7700 steps door to door (1000 calories), so I'm claiming the distance. :-)

ETA: report back from da boss: "they loved today's session."
