It wasn't pretty, but nothing hurt and I only had to walk once.

I've probably jinxed it now, but my back is actually feeling okay. As in not-sore. I had a couple of bad days while I was away (probably too much walking on hard surfaces with a backpack), but nothing all week.
Exercising in the mornings probably helps - not having to put any pressure on it after sitting on my arse for 8 hours.
