Ran/walked the Diamond Hill South course from a couple of weeks ago, using the MapRun app. Had the phone tucked into the FlipBelt on my hips, which worked well with my beaten up O pants - previous runs wearing slippery lycra leggings with it weren't so successful. GPS was a bit slow to register some controls, but I don't think 5-10 secs at my glacial pace added too much. Longest run since January (the bar is very low). 3 days recovery time. Yes Boss.

Feels so good to be running freely again! No aches or pains this morning. I think my body prefers mornings (just not at stupid o'clock). Kristy clocked over 4km on her Garmin, so I'll claim that too.

Yesterday after the run, the new Garmin told me I needed 3 days recovery time. 3 DAYS! About 500m into a shuffle around the lake, I decided it was probably right.
