Hot Christmas Parkrun. First time in over a year. That hill is still there! Had a few walking breaks, but otherwise fine.

Brought the bikes down to go for a ride, but it was way too blustery and both of us are a bit crook. So we didn't.

It *was* chaos. Finally escaped (but still have to go in on Monday to finish up). Walked a couple of laps of the lake to fill in time until the work dinner party.

Woke up snotty and coughy and phlegmy (I'm blaming the snotty nearly-2yo). Decided to err on the side of "couch" for the day.

Aaaand the "to 5k" side of the equation. I found out about this mid-morning, and spent the rest of the day trying to decide whether to go or not. I still hadn't made up my mind by 5 o'clock, so I went. The first 2kms were a real struggle, and then my body seemed to figure out what it was doing, and I cruised home. Back is still not sore. Wahoo!
