Well that was annoying.
A really tough forest to run through and never really able to hold a bearing due to the bracken and brambles.
Keith set a good course and I struggled with one of those days that if you looked left, then the control was on the right.
Completely missed #10 unfortunately with most of the control circle being removed due to the amount of pits in the area. 5 others did the same so disappointing not to be reinstated. As we had to leave early, I had no idea that so many others had done the same.
That's twice now that I've miss punched in the last month. Yes, I take responsibility for both misses but if others are doing the same, should this not be picked up by the controller or the organiser after the event?
I hope not to miss punch again but if I do, I'm bloody well putting in a complaint from now on!!!
