By far the best course that I have run on for quite some time.
There were plenty of long legs and changes of direction that kept me on my toes. Just a shame my navigation was awful and I dropped lots of time, especially on #5.
Legs were in bits from the start but encouragingly, they kept plodding on.

Starting to feel comfortable on this bike again.

Warm up then a 1km TT in 16.19.
A nice 13 second improvement on my PB in a long course pool.
I hadn't been in the pool for a week so was unsure how this would go. I took the 400m warm up easy and came in at 6.39 so knew that going off steady would help.
With 10 second gaps there wasn't any drafting until I caught Darren up at 750. I then work incredibly hard over the next 100 to overtake him and Milly so I was just hanging on for the last 150.
Really even splits on each length and I was able to go quicker in the 2nd half.
