| Technical Orienteering race 29:01 [5] 4.7 km (6:10 / km) | ||
| (sick) | ||
| JHI's relay. Went off 5th about 4mins behind peter and only 10s behind Dave, Ralph and Paddy. Passed Paddy at the start then the other 3 of us ran together. It wasn't a very clean race there were a few 15s misses in the control circle. But we all just swapped the lead untill near the end when ralph got 10s on me and dave but lukily he had a longer gaffle and me and dave finished first. I just got him on the run in.
Was pleased that i kept going felt tired with the cold. Also overall not a great day for scotland. We got creamed in the relays. So as usual we had to settle for second.

| Technical Orienteering 25:00 [4] 3 km (8:20 / km) | ||
| Warm up and warm down.
Also 2km sprint course around Kings Buidings. I took 16.42 It was a bit of a disaster for the first few controls didn't get into the map at all and lost lots of time. Then took a bad route for 5 and then ran straight past the control. This is where i saw doug and i began to concentrate. Managed to keep him behind me for the next half of the course until the second last control where he had a better route and jumped infront of me. Overall bit of a crappy run but got me back orienteering again.

And it is amazing, it has everything you could ever need! But feeling tired at the moment, i'm getting 5hours less sleep than normal.
