managed to get 5mins away out the door and HR was still very high compared to the effort so turn around and went home very angry at myself.
This is the point where with hindsight I realise that I'm an idiot, not at all as indistrucable as I would like to think I am, and should not have done 4 hours of training in -3 degrees this weekend when I was still a bit ill thinking I could just get through it.
Easy start to next week and hope to properly kick the back of this illness.
Really wanting to get started with everything I had planned for the winter but that same enthusiasm seems to be saboutaging me a bit.
Week one plan do 120km and some gym work; relaity was 140km with 4 hard sessions and gym work (in hindsight probably one of my toughest ever weeks of training) and then I get ill, and then I waste a week or possibly 2 now because of being an impaitent idiot.
