Today was the shortest distance but probably slowest pace. Packs were still fairly heavy and the terrain was all up and down. Weather was once again perfect! We were at our disappointing (the only one of the trip) campsite by noon and did what we could to make the best of it! One of the highlights for me was collecting beautiful, dry, snappy firewood for each night. I felt so spoiled - I don't think I've ever been backpacking without having to deal with rain and wet gear and wood!
