Cycling 1:45:00 [3]

Really fun night ride at Halton Complex with DD11, Browner and Storm. We weren't sure what the conditions would be like but they were pretty perfect, with just enough sticky fresh snow on top of the ice that there was good traction for the most part.

I didn't spend much time on my bike this past season and it showed trying to catch up with this crew on the hills, but it was beautiful night to be out on a bike! Then we had beer which made me really happy. :-)

Running 56:00 [3]

A jaunt around the Puslinch trails after work. Really icy but my Spikecross made a mockery of it...I love those shoes!

It got a little spooky in the woods by myself in the dark by the end of it!

Strength Training 50:00 [3]

I know I've got a lot of good qualities but I'm pretty confident that pistol squats aren't on that list.

X-Country Skiing 40:00 [3]

Had a dinner to go to after work but I had packed my skis just in case the whimsy struck me on the way home, which it did! Knew that the warmer temps would mean no snow around here for a bit (booo!) so I am glad I got out for one more before that happened. I also wanted to try to maintain some of the confidence I felt I got on the downhills on Sunday.

It was a beautiful night at Bechtel and I had the place to myself. Did a few laps around the field then played around in the woods for a bit. A perfect winter night!

Event: TOC O Cup

X-Country Skiing 2:00:00 [3]

Mrs. Tiny and I met up at Schneider's Woods for some ski time. I've been there once before on foot but never on skis and was so delighted. There were trails upon trails upon trails and a wonderful mix of narrow trails through the woods, tons of good climbs, and lots of fun opportunities to bomb big downhills through the middle of open fields where there was no danger of hitting trees.

I started out a bit nervous on the trackless treed trails as my turning skills at the bottom of hills were a bit rusty, but our repeats up and down the field trails really helped and I felt infinitely better by the end of it. Skiing is SO MUCH FUN!

This was such a great weekend to be outside!

Running 1:11:00 [3]

Magical run at Hydrocut where the trails were in perfect condition and the weather could not have been any more spectacular!

On days like today, I simply don't understand people who say they don't like winter!

Strength Training 55:00 [3]

CrossFit. Really enjoyed today's workout due to the absence of both burpees and skipping, my two least favourite CrossFit activities. Thanks Universe!
