I am somehow always convinced that active recovery is best, so went out for a run in the park before heading to the brewery. Was more of a gentle jog as cold was worse and back started off good but was pretty tender.

Went on a secret mission to MA this weekend to pick up one of my best friends a case of beer for her wedding. Of course, I took Earl and made an adventure weekend out of it as well!

Unfortunately the adventure weekend did not start out super as I woke up Friday morning with a nasty cold and sore back! Ironically I think the back injury came from sitting at a meeting in Toronto all day and on the train there and back and I didn't get the chance to do anything active that day.

So this was a gentle hike around the trails at Wells State Park where I was staying. It was a beautiful warm afternoon!

This morning was kind of a cool workout. You did 3 sets at each of the 8 stations, with a 5 exercise core routine after each one.

Cycling 1:10:00 [3]

Touring around the MTB trails with Greg at Albion. Tons of damage from the recent ice and wind storms made for careful riding in places as you never knew what you were going to see flying around a corner!
