Went down to Michigan for an Ode to Barkley run called the Frozen Highland FA. 16 mile loops with books located just off the trail. Ran with a friend who is just getting back into shape and wasn't up to completing a whole loop, so we shortcut it partway through. The weather was very Barkley-esque with rain all morning and the temperature hovering about freezing. I was having a great time but was equally happy to finish a bit earlier and get warm and dry.

This was a super fun event that would be fun to replicate in Ontario! I am not sure if the organizers knew it would fall on the same weekend as real Barkley, but it was kinda cool that it did!
