Trekking/Hiking 30:00 [2]

One of my new favourite YouTube channels is Foresty Forest, a Canadian guy who lives out of his self-converted minivan and takes it on all sorts of wild adventures. He's just driven it up to the Article Circle and back. If you're looking for some fresh content, Foresty Forest (what a name!) is your guy!

Strength Training 20:00 [3]

I feel very fortunate these days to have a pretty nicely equipped home gym and that I enjoy throwing around dumbbells and such.

Cycling 20:00 [3]

Picking up Earl, and trying to swallow the very large bill that some seemingly inconsequential repairs generated. Gulp.

Running 30:00 [3]

Lovely morning to get out for some fresh air! I ran from home and decided to check out this little trail system near my house I'd always wanted to explore. Turns out it's just full of trash and a few homeless camps and I am probably better off not running through there by myself. Well now I know.

Trekking/Hiking 30:00 [3]

Incline hike on the treadmill. My goal has been to do something active every day before work and something after work. I'm participating in a 1 mile hike / run streak with some MI friends, so this is a good way to ensure I get it in if I have other plans for the day.

Yoga (Other) 20:00 [1]

Today was Yoga with Adriene for neck and shoulders.

Cycling 40:00 [3]

On the Guelph to Millbank rail trail. I keep convincing myself that these trails will be clear of snow because they start out that way, then entertain myself trying to stay on my bike through the slushy snow!

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3]

Puslinch Tract map hike with my niece and nephew, who have really taken to orienteering! My niece loves to shriek "I see the flag, I see the flag" as soon as it becomes visible, while my nephew strives to beat her to the control when she finds it (because she's paying more attention to the map).

My brother said that this and our Halton map hike on Saturday were the happiest he's seen his kids all week, which really warmed my heart.

Cycling 25:00 [3]

Nippy ride back from dropping Earl off for some work.

Orienteering 1:30:00 [2]

On the DGL Rockcliffe map. I almost hesitate to call this orienteering as I was so terrible at it today! :-|
