Short out and back Bruce Trail hike to get a bit of distance in before I needed to head home.

Was originally supposed to be on a fun MTB adventure at Turkey Point this weekend, but when that was cancelled mid-week, we came up with an equally fun Plan B! Alisha, Amber and I met at the Hydrocut and had a great ride on a hot afternoon. I've decided that riding there is way more fun with friends than solo, and there were a bunch of new trails I'd never been on before. It was pretty spicy out there and parking lot beer never tasted so good! Then we headed back to my place for a pizza party, fire, and backyard camp out that lasted later than it should have.

Found a great Hipcamp spot near where I am on the Bruce Trail, so booked it for Friday night. I had Friday afternoon off so did a hike/bike before heading to the campsite, which was beautiful. Earl's first real night away for the season!

Cycling 30:54 [3]

Ride back to Earl who was parked in the Mono Cliffs PP parking lot. Hit over 60km/h going down a hill!

Two consecutive rides at Guelph Lake:

1. Met Alisha and Claire for a short tour while Chris hiked with Emily.

2. Met my brother and the kids for a ride that included a lovely picnic by the lake.

Beautiful day for it, with a nice breeze that kept the bugs away.
