One last hike in Gatineau before starting the trek home with a 2-night stay at Lake St. Peter. It was hard to leave! The park was so beautiful and quiet.

Kristen and I had a lovely cool morning ride on Gatineau trails, hers was especially impressive since she was on her commuter bike! I’ve just absolutely loved it here, and am a bit sad to be leaving tomorrow!

Broke up my morning adventure with some running, the first time I’ve tried running outside since I hurt my Achilles last month. Got more running time in than expected and explored some magical new trails in Gatineau.

Had a great epic ride from the campground to Meech Lake Valley across toward Wakefield and back on the Gatineau park trails. More climbing than I’ve done in a really long time and a good reminder that I can do hard things even if they seem a bit daunting as I’m heading out!

Woke up to a beautiful morning and couldn’t wait to get out and explore. Did a loop hike from my campsite that all sorts of lovely surprises on it. The park is surprisingly quiet for the summer, but I suppose it is a Monday!
