Skiing race 29:58 [5]
Tour de Rumford Day 2 - 10k Skate

Great course. Very rolling with some nasty climbs. Took it easy for majority of first lap, but worked the hills. Caught up to 30s girl around 5k. She stuck to me like glue for the last 5k, and I gave it all I had to keep ahead of her. Last major hill felt so hard. I was completely wiped at finish, but this was a great race for me. 6th place, my first top 10 in an Eastern Cup!
Skiing 1:15:00 [3]
Warmup/Cooldown. Felt like death on the cooldown.

Skiing race 6:00 [5]
Tour de Rumford day 1 - Classic sprints

Qualified 21st in sprint prelims. Mostly flat course with one really steep hill means I can just run up the hill and do fairly well.

1st Heat - I was ranked 5th in my heat, which had some really tough skiers in it. I had a horrible start and was last and gapped from the beginning. I pushed it on the hill and made it up to third place. I double poled the finish for all my worth, but got passed by one girl. 4th in the heat, but very close to the 2nd place girl and last advancing spot.
Skiing 1:45:00 [3]
Warmup/Cooldown for sprints.
Running 12:00 [1]
Shakeout run after sprints.

Friday Jan 25

Skiing 1:35:00 [3]
First time skiing the trails at Bristol Mountain. 6x2min alternating pole and not pole skate. Various balance and technique drills.

Tuesday Jan 22

Skiing 1:22:00 [2]
Snow was great at Harriet... worth the drive. Classic ski + speeds and sprints. Skiing during a blizzard, using a headlight was useless because of all the snow.
C • Snow!! 2

Running 40:00 [1]
