Sunday Apr 6

Running 1:00:00 [1]
Ran cemetary state (Garfield) with the girls. It's nice to run in the spring in potsdam.

Saturday Apr 5

Skiing (Skate) 2:00:00 [4]
30k skate at Salmon Hills. Last ski of the year.

The first 25k I was feeling awesome. The girls started 2 min after the guys, and I was catching guys the entire way. The course went down the outer limits and around the Coey Hill loop. The last 5k around Coey I hit a wall or something. I could barely move my legs, and those are some hilly trails out there. I survived, but it was looking rough for a bit.

Glad to be done and thinking about some running and biking now. Spring is here!

Friday Apr 4

Orienteering 1:15:00 [1]
Run through an old mendon course with Alex. It was pretty wet and muddy out by the pond and really cool and foggy in the woods.

Wednesday Apr 2

Rollerskiing 1:27:00 [2]
ROLLERSKIING? IN APRIL?

Yeah so I went for a ski with a friend who was injured and couldn't run. Had fun and probably went too hard. But it's ok since I came home and worked on making vegan cupcakes all night. Let's just say they're pretty tasty =)

Tuesday Apr 1

Running 25:00 [1]
Easy run... really windy here.

Monday Mar 31

Orienteering 55:00 [1]
Easy run on the orange course from Sat's meet. I went easy and nailed every control except one. I took a rough compass bearing and came out too far north. To get to one of the controls I kinda slipped down a hill pretty bad and cut up my leg. It's sore but not too bad. The cliff I slipped down was right next to the road, and I staggered out to the road as a car drove by. I was also really muddy. Must have looked completely hilarious.

I'm totally gonna kill the next race I go to.
