Sunday Jun 22

Rollerskiing 1:25:00 [1]
Classic double pole distance day. This was actually almost completely in L1 (a big deal from me when I'm skiing with a large group).
Rollerskiing 1:00:00 [1]
Skate technique, I really need to work on my legs. I apparently step up a bit too much and need to load my legs more.
Cycling 10:00 [1]
Morning spin.

Saturday Jun 21

Running 5:00:00 [1]
This was a run/hike in the Adirondacks. We went from the garden up lower wolfjaw and around to rooster comb. We missed our trail somewhere along there and ended up hiking out to rt 73.
Strength 24:00 [5]
bridges/abs/lots of pain

Friday Jun 20

Rollerskiing 2:10:00 [2]
Skate roll in Wilmington, out to Swastika road. Did some technique work, including trying to keep relaxed and swing those arms. I guess I've got a bit of a twist to my v1 and my legs need to be wider going up hills. So much to work on... I don't think it will ever end.
Rollerskiing 1:00:00 [2]
Classic technique roll. So much to think about...
Running 10:00 [1]
Morning run.

Thursday Jun 19

Rollerskiing 1:18:00 [3]
Classic dp roll out in Wilmington, probably was too fast on the warmup but I had like 30 other people to ski with. That's exciting!
Rollerskiing 12:00 [5]
4x3min dp intervals. So my hr hit like 196, 194, 199 at the top of the first 3 of these. I don't know how I'm getting my hr so high lately without completely dying. Anyway the last one was lower cause I was working on some technique points. I'm a bit slower than the others at this. Granted dp is not my strength (nor is strength in general), but my skis might also be a bit on the slow side. Rolling in a group can be a little frustrating too,
Running 35:00 [1]
Strength warmup/cooldown
Strength 36:00 [5]
Really really hard strength circuits. Aaand we finished it off with just about the most difficult bridges/tv watchers that I've ever done. I think my arms were gonna collapse.
Running 10:00 [1]
Morning run.

Wednesday Jun 18

Running 40:00 [1]
Woodsy run in Placid.

Tuesday Jun 17

Rollerskiing 1:00:00 [1]
Easy classic roll. Double pole technique work. I was working on my hand positions and trying to get a snappy action going without raising my hr too much (not sure how well I accomplished this).

Monday Jun 16

Note
(rest day)
Off day, but had to scoot home as fast as I could on my bike in a hail storm. It hurts a lot if you're only wearing a t-shirt and shorts!
