Lexington ACROSS looping. I always forget how hard it is to follow the markings on these trails. Lead to lots of phone checking and going slow/turning around. Ended up having a 20 min or so tempo on the road to get home in time for a play date.

Russel Mills mtb with family. After a crash on a pump track there was a lot of sadness. Seemed to be a little bit fueled by lack of food too, but I snuck away for a 15 min mom ride on the harder stuff.

Overdoing it, as usual. Foot was feeling better for a couple of days and I didn't feel like biking. So went for the tower out and back in the fells. Used new supportive shoes and an insole, and heel was sore but not too bad. On the way back from the tower it started to hurt more and I noticed I was changing my form to avoid heel planting. After the run it feels like a sharp point of pain. It's certainly more painful than the dull ache before boston.

So, I think I've gotta give up on running and do a bike full time transition here, sadly. Maybe some roller skiing.

Figured I needed to get some hard work in again even if running is not working out at the moment. 3x8 min between T and I on the cx bike in the fells. Hard to get ripping with all the dog walkers, but tried to get some good bits in.
