XC-Ski Skating 1:43:00 [3] 19.68 km (5:14 / km) +190m 5:00 / km

Big surprise this morning, 10cm of snow came down over night!
ideal weather for XC-skiing. Unfortunately it is extremly warm for the time of the year and at lunch time the tracks are like soup. It's no fun to ski in the afternoon!

XC-Ski Skating 1:02:00 [3] 12.0 km (5:10 / km) +105m 4:57 / km

It was tough to go from Silvaplana to Sils, strong wind was blowing from Maloja and sometimes accelerating to storm level. Skiing back was like flying over the lake!

XC-Ski Skating 2:05:00 [3] 27.0 km (4:38 / km) +250m 4:25 / km

Pushed by the wind but slowed down by the slash, I skated from Silvaplana to Zuoz. There is still enough snow on the tracks but it is very worm for the time of the year, you can see the snow melting away. Let's hope that we get some snowfall the next few days to ensure good conditions for the Engadin Ski Marathon and will not have to make water skiing!

XC-Ski Skating 1:55:00 [2] 26.5 km (4:20 / km) +308m 4:06 / km

Back at the Engadin to prepare the Marathon scheduled for March 9.
Although the last 5 weeks there was no snowfall at all, the tracks are still in very good condition, and it was a pleasure to skate over the lakes!
