Running 10:00 [3]1.3 mi (7:41 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Running
Went on my first run with Presto!!! I'm on my second 10 minute run. My next run can be 15 minutes. Unfortunately I don't think that this particular run was exactly what the physical therapist had in mind. Presto has really latched on to my dad, so I was having to give him tugs on the leash every time he wanted to go back with my dad. He did seem to eventually get the idea, though. He's a great dog!

Running 10:00 [3]1.26 mi (7:56 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Running
I went to the physical therapist that Pia recommended today. She was MUCH better than anyone else I have gone to see. Thanks Pia! They said that my piriformis was tight and gave me some stretches as well as a plan to get back running. Today I was allowed to run 10 minutes with a 5 minute walking warm-up and cool down. It felt pretty good.

Tuesday Jul 1

Biking 24:00 [3]4.6 mi (5:13 / mi)
Biking to the CSU training at Pine Hill.
Orienteering 1:04:41 [3]**** 4 km (16:10 / km)
shoes: New Balance Orienteering
Went to the CSU training at Pine Hill. Brendan set up a Line-O, which was a lot of fun and worked well since I still am not supposed to run. I found the streamers, and I felt like I was sticking line pretty well, so the walking paid off at least a bit. I ran a tiny bit, which felt fine. I'm going to the physical therapist tomorrow, so hopefully I can start running for real soon!

Sunday Jun 29

Elliptical 36:25 [3]4.01 mi (9:05 / mi)
I didn't want to run two days in a row so as to not strain my leg, so I went to the gym to elliptical. I was feeling pretty good until the end when it started hurting a little bit, so I decided that was a good time to stop.
