Middle distance champs at Moreau! It was really nice to be outside and away from the frantic freakoutness of lab. I was pleased to never completely blow up, although I can't say this was particularly clean (notably I went to 8 before 7...). All in all, a good day!

Running with SGB back from Boston! I was super dehydrated and SGB was all sore and creaky, so we made a good pair :-). We got lemonade on the way back, which made me happy :-)!

Running with Presto before heading off to my concert! I finally finished the first full draft of Thesis Chapter 3 (well, minus Materials and Methods because they are boring) last night and sent it off to my adviser, so I decided that today would have as much outside time as possible. Presto and I ran into lab to move some plates and then on a run around the river. There were lots of geese and goslings and flowers, and it was good to be out :-).

Then it was off to my concert in Lexington via the Minuteman Trail! The tires on my bike were a bit flat, but I didn't have time to deal with them on the way out to Lexington, so it was a bit of a slog. I did get there in time to warm-up for the sound check, though, so that was good. The concert went well (and there were brownies!!!), and then it was time to head back home. My bike needs some love. It was making funny squeaking noises the entire time. I filled the tires at the bike shop on the Minuteman Trail, though, which was an improvement, and it was really nice to be outside so much on such a nice day!
