Running with Margaret at lunch! Since I couldn't make it yesterday, we decided to go for a fun run this afternoon. Margaret wanted to head down to Six Mile Creek, so we headed through Belle Sherman and down to some trails. The woods are super pretty right now with nice leaves and stuff like that, so we ran down to the river and then headed up to the waterfall. When we got to the end of the trail, there was an enticing looking super sketchy path(?) up a cliff. After some brief debate, we decided that what was life without adventure, and aside from one particularly wet and sketchy section where we both sort of wondered what would happen if we fell, it was a successful journey up the cliff. Woo! We then ran around the upper trails for a bit before dropping back down to the creek to run along in the woods. We found one (very cold) snake as we were getting back to the road. Then it was just the road run back up the hill to lab. So good to get out in the middle of the day!
