Taping route for Morven race with WB. Chilly up top. Nominal hour but probably out for two. Ptarmigan already turning white.

Up to Torq across the harvested fields, then Craigmore trig and back. A few roe. Rough path through the bracken getting easier going thankfully. Very slow but a turnover.

Recovery run with AT and WB from Les Collons. Pleasant weather, great views and good chat. Alleviating the DOMS. Certainly not spritely though. Nice to look out over a good part of Saturdays route.

Cabane de Becs de Bosson - Vex
-5 and plenty snow out the refuge door but still cloudy and snow flurries. Mega downhill day. Interesting broken terrain up high then nice single tracks below the snow line down to Nax. Then very steep downhill from the panorama point to the bottom of the gorge. 2300m downhill to here. Slight right knee sensitivity not surprisingly.
Got into a good rhythm on the climb out the other side up the 400m to coffee stop in Vex.

Vex - Les Collons
3 hour bus wait so...up the 900m+ climb back to Les Collons.
Great circuit all in all. Need to go back some time in better visibility.
91 km, 6200m ascent/descent in the four days. Not counting locals and folk at refuges only met about 17 folk the whole time. Great company and a fab trip.
