Trail / Terrain Run 1:34:34 [3] 15.7 km (6:01 / km) +348m 5:25 / km
shoes: Roclite 295

With SW
Through Potties and into Sluie; couple of loops amongst the nicer bits, along with Fergus (random young friendly dog who left us after 25 mins when his apologetic owner appeared as we were leaving Sluie again). Then back via Potties again.
More thinning going on up at northern end of Sluie.
Nice run, good chat.

Walk 1:00:00 [3]

With T.
Morrone loop from the Games arena in Braemar. Blue sky, more of a breeze up on high than expected but lovely. Not another soul.
The Bothy to indulge after.
11.5 k / 500m, out for 3 hours.

Orienteering 43:00 [3] 5.0 km (8:36 / km) +183m 7:16 / km
shoes: Mudclaw 300 b/r

Collecting DNC controls at Corsedardar. I love these light canes..could still run the whole lot with 17 controls. Kept going even on the uphills albeit slowly.
Pleasant afternoon in the sunshine.

Badminton 45:00 [3]

Warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Turbo (Zwift) 1:01:00 [3] 20.7 km (2:57 / km) +540m 2:36 / km

Need to calibrate it properly if the figures are to be believed.

Note

DNC Corsedardar
Always learnings from any event..even so many years on
Some of this ones:
1) the clip that is used to hang controls on our lightweight stake is loose on some of them and slides down. Result ..low hanging controls, which in a pit at night isn't so great.
2) in an area of multiple controls having 117 close to 107 also wasn't great. Unintentional.

Sorry folks.

Note

Putting out DNC controls at Corsedardar with T. Forest looking good.
Out for 90+

Intervals 25:00 [3]

Run Club
Interval games in the stubble field. Manic ..and a fair bit of diving about...and some pretty muddy kit. Good fun though.
With BP, SR, IW and WB...five of us and seventeen of them.

Warm up/down 15:00 [3]

To and from field.

Note

Banff Mountain Film Festival. Well worthwhile.
Birnam Hill with T. Out of the fog and a brilliant day higher up. Nice 6k loop.

Trail 53:49 [3] 11.0 km (4:54 / km) +192m 4:30 / km
shoes: Mudclaw 300 b/r

Nice loop from the Cally car park by Dunkeld. Ran a loop round the back of Craig a'Barns at a good tempo. Lovely Perthshire day. Feeling pretty good.
