Out earlyish to get the best of the weather and not ready for a parkrun blast at Crathes yet. Up the back and round some of the unploughed fields. Glorious up there this morning. Steady but a bit quicker back the way..downhill. Achilles a little tight to start but loosened up. Need more diligence with eccentrics.

Longest run for a good while.
With SW
Achnahoy, Balfour House, Birse, a few fields, Allancreich Farm and over the hill home. A couple of new tracks for me and quite a few barbed wire fences too. Toiling on the hills somewhat but no real aches or pains.

Seeing the slush at the VM in Seefeld I do wonder about conditions for Vasaloppet this weekend although looks as though it's turned cold again maybe just in time.

Great to be running again but don't know how to get rid of the cough. Bit disappointed to be missing Vasaloppet this weekend but the right call as Holmenkollmarsjen was so draining.

Academy Run Club..22 of them this week.
Great to be back out and running with them.
Balnagowan loop with a few sprints and "activities" thrown in.
With IW and ME.
Cough still there but feeling much better generally.
Achilles still there but barely a niggle whilst out.

Manning the start at SOL.
Decided against running as it was probably pushing my luck after the BNC. Not particularly disappointed or bothered as still on a high from last night. More important to get rid of the lurgy.

Up the back for a slow leg loosener. Nice.
Still small achilles twinges.
