Gently round a loop of Potties. Mix of track and terrain but largely pretty level.


A wee bit of jogging at the Crathes Half.

Couldn’t not post gardening.
Glorious day to be on the local tops. Ploughed up Corybeg again, then down to Birse Castle before climbing back up again vis the Fungle. Down to Newmill and home. Lots of fun.
Achilles as confusing as ever.

Achilles felt good this morning after the run yesterday. Positive.

Helium. With T.
Community path; Ballogie House drive; Birse road; Bridge of Ess; Braeloine then over to Dinnet. Deeside Way to Aboyne; Belwade for a black pudding and egg roll; across the A93 to rejoin the DW. Up the hill - might have called in for a cuppa at the top but for the aforementioned roll - Kinca; Potarch and back through the wood. Nice weather, nice day, nice outing.

New pair of the old Pegasus stalwarts to raise my heel 5mm from my usual of the last few years. Maybe it's temporary but hopefully will ease the pressure on the achilles a bit at least for a while.
A relatively flat 4k up the back.

Not much achilles progress. Hard to gauge how much active effort to put in. Downhills in particular irritate it fairly easily. Occasionally and fairly random burning sensations in various places above the heel but no pain from the usual, and accepted, exercise regimes. Physio visit to JC on 17th - hopefully worth the wait.

Academy Run Club x 16. Fun lot as ever.
With ME, IW and WB. WB and I on bikes.
Out the Tarland Way.

Post run club. Headed out and up Corybeg but sugar bonk 2/3rd up so turned round and went home for tea.

Couple of days of other stuff including a fair bit for Toms Cairn 10k. Great race, great day. Done and dusted. Thanks JR and AT for helping with results.
