Out the door to Craigmore trig; up the Deeside Way then Tom’s Cairn; down to the memorial; Caper enclosure; Corybeg, Lamahip and home. Glorious day. A few folk around Toms Cairn but hardly anyone else. Nice run but strange as it may seem to some people in other places there’ll be an early fire risk up here if it carries on like this. So much bone dry dead vegetation about.

Brief chat with prospective DR plot purchasers near Bridgend.

Back to Sluie to have another go at recceing potential DR night race for next winter's series - after last weeks abortive "dead leg" trip.

Lovely weather again.

With SW. Good to have the company but also good to have help to ensure it wouldn't be too much of a rough and tough course only suitable for diehard orienteers.

Generally did the route as planned with only a few minor tweaks to avoid the worst areas of rutted and puddled tracks. Most of the tracks were lovely and dry and in great condition though.

Very easy pace with a fair number stops/starts. No aches or pains

Up to the trig on Craigmore from each of four directions. Very easy paced. Lovely day. Lovely time of year.

An alternative DR seasion to accommodate the times - Ballogie Runners substitute.
With SW, MT and AD.
6 x 2.40 approx hill with jog back down. (5.30 loop approx). Tough but fairly consistent. Neighbours disappeared off into the distance to varying degrees - that's the lot of the aged runner I guess - but pleased to see the session through with consistent distances pretty much. Managed the whole thing in daylight starting at 1750. Great.
( Who needs a running club when you have neighbours?! :-))

RuthMs aerobics. Expected a little thigh pain/ache from some of the stretches. Didn’t get any. Good.
