Sunday May 25

Running 41:00 [3]
shoes: Saucony Grid Omni
Run in Ed with Linda and Micke. Before breakfast and felt terrible. No energy at all so was rubbish. Left them and headed back at 22mins. Really annoyed but don't think I am capable of running before breakfast. Good lesson learnt in any case! Boo.

Saturday May 24

Running 1:11:00 [3]
ahr:169 max:181 shoes: Saucony Grid Omni
Run in Ed. Was going to be long run but misjudged completely. Picked up speed significantly at 45mins and felt much better.
Knee not perfect but not too bad either. Lump still impressive but no idea why!

Friday May 23

Note
Was planning on running in afetrnoon as so tired in the morning and then had to look after Rikard. By the time we arrived in Ed food had been prepared and it was quite late. Would have felt rude to go out training and thought that an extra rest day would do me no harm.

Thursday May 22

Note
Ate lactose on wed night and was surprisingly ill from it all day today so it had to be a rest day. Annoying as hell!!
Knee still ugly but not as painful, think I need to go back and see someone though as it is pretty strange shape (looks like I have 3 knee caps...)

Wednesday May 21

Running intervals 25:00 [5] 3.8 km (6:35 / km)
ahr:140 max:180 shoes: Saucony Grid Omni
Gym intervals on treadmill again but shorter distances and faster.
1km warm up, then 1 x 300m, 7 x 200m and 2 x 150m ('47 ('46), '38 ('44), '36 ('45), '37 ('45), '37 ('44), '36 ('45), '35 (2'00), '18 ('30), '17) and then 1km warm down.
Would have done the longer distances but head fried from early exam and running sprint race in evening.
Felt really heavy legged at start but found a good enough speed and warmed up to feel good!
Note
No sprint race due to puncture and hours waiting for car rescue and being towed about to get new tyres! annoying!

Tuesday May 20

Running 20:00 [3] 3.6 km (5:33 / km)
shoes: Saucony Grid Omni
Kristinehamn. Not racing as running with Ruth instead. Missed section of 4km track by mistake but think it was about 3.6 km and we ran at a steady pace. Did some sprints on the hill - 4x60/30.
Running 14:00 [3] 2.3 km (6:05 / km)
shoes: Saucony Grid Omni
We felt like longer so went again on 2.1km loop. Again nice and steady. Ran some more sprints but on flat this time 5x30/15 and then I pushed hard on the hill and ran back down to ruth and ran hill again at steady pace.
Felt good on hill but struggling with sprints.
Running 13:00 [4] 2.7 km (4:49 / km)
shoes: Saucony Grid Omni
Ran last loop alone as think ruth was a bit bored of running the same loops. Ran it quite hard and tried to keep same pace when reached hill. Felt good.
Running warm up/down 10:00 [1] 1 km (10:00 / km)
shoes: Saucony Grid Omni
Warm down...with kids. ended up carrying them both for half of it as they thought it was funny...was surprisingly tired after carrying them through terrain!!

Monday May 19

Indoor Cycling warm up/down 25:00 [2]
Warm up in gym before weights - 15mins and warm down afterwards - 10 mins.
Strength 48:00 [3]
Increased leg weights by 1kg each and abs weights by 1kg and calf weights by 5kg. Felt better with the legs today but arms still pathetic!
Knee still ugly but not as painful!!
Running 28:45 [4] 6 km (4:48 / km)
shoes: Saucony Grid Omni
Fuxboudden with Ruth. Ran with map and ran faster than intended, but felt really good, was nice to be running with company!! Stuck to paths which was good for the knee!!
Running warm up/down 7:00 [2]
shoes: Saucony Grid Omni
Warm down.
