Orienteering 1:03:00 [3] **** 5.5 mi (11:27 / mi)
ahr:176 max:192 spiked:8/10c shoes: Twisters

KedjeƄsen. Training with Maria and Anna and without compass (until really needed it to reset map - next time I won't take it).
Not that long a course but hard work after so long sitting and not training. First 7 controls were good, but it always takes some time to agree you are in the right place without flags. then I made a huge mistake on 8 and it took us ages to work out where we were. I just couln't make any sense of the map (I have done a similar thing before in same section). then anna did something similar on next control and once we recovered from that we ran back.
Really good to have company and to be training again.
Knee OK. Was scared I would fall but if I continue strength stuff I will be much stronger and safer. Knee much better than when I ran on concrete. SpƤnnande!!

Running 18:00 [2]
(injured) shoes: Saucony Flats

Ran to collect car from Jenny's in Ekeby. Really warm again today.
Knee not feeling as good as yesterday so definitely need to make sure I run every other day whilst getting back into it.

Core 35:00 [3]
(injured)

Couldn't get card to work to unlock door at gym so came home and did Fitball session.

Running 45:00 [2] 6.0 km (7:30 / km)
(injured) shoes: Saucony Flats

Went on a tester run with Linda and Becca on bike (which meant it was her pace and lots of stop starting and a few bits of walking).
Ran from home Athletics ground and then home via Lotta's...
Knee started to get more painful after 30 mins but wasn't too bad at all.

Note
(injured)

Although my knee is not completely pain free it felt so good to wake up this morning with tired muscles...It has been a ling time since I had the post training feeling. No time today to get to the gym as buying car and looking after children all day gives me no spare time...but I hope to hit the home training room later!

Strength (Rehab stuff) 45:00 [2]
(injured)

Went to gym for first session in agaes...taking advice of sports dr.
Leg squats - 8.75Kg on each side = 37.5kg total (supported)
5 sets of 10. Knee painful but dr said this is OK.
Then arm and abs work from original programme and 10mins on bike (level 8, easy pace)

Really good to be allowed to do something again but don't like the fact that my knee hurts the whole time and was a little worse for 4 hours after, but Dr said this was all fine so I am trusting him.

Note
(injured)

Ok, think I was having a pain immune day yesterday as knee is back to how it has been for weeks so not happy. Have Dr appointment today and will try and be pushier and demand more investigation...grrrr, getting annoyed!!

Note
(injured)

X ray clear but no real progress with diagnosis or treatment. Predicted bursa and tendon inflammation, no idea why have no feeling in skin, no idea why lump is so big.
Treatment is to keep taking tablets, even if they have had no effect in 4 weeks, and to start squats with weights bar 3 times a week even if it hurts. Am allowed to run if it doesn't hurt and same with cycling, but should do more strength in gym than running or cycling, and no running in terrain until less sensitive.
No time scale but he seemed to think O ringen is unlikey.

All in all a shit day!
