Orienteering race 33:00 [2] 2.5 km (13:12 / km)

Up to mid-way between 2 and 3. Low intensity because of 20-min error on 2 which involved lots of standing/walking.

Basically, panicked and lost 20 minutes on number 2. Decided it would be silly to give up and raced off to number 3, and a couple of minutes later sprained my right ankle. Walked the 2k back very slowly. Absolutely gutted.

Ran 6.05k

Cleanest run yet? Lost ~1m30 on number 4 (too low), and then another minute maybe on the crag where I saw Liz. Otherwise, fantastic fun. Nice and runnable.

Day 3 - Long

Ran 6.76k

Raining. Another pretty good run, but with several smallish time losses from bad routes through the terrain and errors, maybe 3-4 x ~1min. Big mistake nearer end (about 90s - 2 mins) simply because I was enjoying it a bit too much.

Day 2 - middle

Great fun again. Bigger mistake this time - 2+ minutes - along with a few small misses/hesitations/dodgy routes through the terrain. Interviewed at the finish!

Day 1

SO MUCH FUN! Loved every second. A couple of mistakes, perhaps totalling around 3 minutes (3 x 30s, 1 x 1m30).
