Very flat, and nice weather. I found out Wed. that one of the high school marathon relay teams needed a sub. Then on Friday another sub was needed so Allison volunteered. And since Kestrel was already on team we reformed to make a family team with the 3 of us. Kestrel led off with two legs, Allison did the third, and I ran 4th and 5th legs.

Kind of fun fun running with a pack from 12-17.
I think they learned they shouldn't follow me too blindly.
I got off-line to the north going to 17. Seeing a stonewall that was a way off catching feature and turned around to see Ari, Greg and Andis puzzled behind me. Much mud and swamp followed.

Jumped in the pond after biking. First time this year.
Pretty cold.
We had noticed a beaver in the pond this morning. My jumping in only made it slap its tail and dive underwater.
We don't want it to chew down our trees.

Loaded the bike trailer with deposit cans we have been cleaning off the roadsides. Biked to work first, then to Hardwick redemption center and back.
Then at the bottom of the hill picked up 20 lbs of donated potatoes to bring up to the school. The last hill was a killer.
