I stared run ning with the guy I beat last year, but this year he pulled away and stayed ahead of me.

Lots of climb to get to the race. Maybe that's why I was low energy. Not enough long hilly biking lately.

Lotsa time with rock bar . Breaking up rock and concrete that I built around the culvert years ago. But since it washed out, need to put in a second culvert , and therefore remove a lot previous construction. Arms sore the next day.
