Testing skis. Found out that my soft skis are awful with minister on them. So plan to us e the stiff skis for the race. Fresh
Snow today was super sticky. Did several short uphill intervals.

Running on the shallow snow was surprisingly easy. Placed six controls for next week's sterling event. Allison did another 2.

30 sec. Interval start makes it hard to know how I did. but I did catch and pass 4 people.
I am glad it was changed to a skate race.

skate skiing warm up/down 1:20:00 [3] +150m

skied from work to the race and back plus more course specific warm-up intervals on parts of the course.

classic skiing (waxless) 29:00 [2] 2.0 mi (14:30 / mi) +115m 12:18 / mi

skied up to work in order t oset tracks to help Catamount trail skiers find the way.

Lost my kick quickly. So it was a big arm workout. But not fast.

With Kestrel. He was feeling better than me. I think I was a little tight after TH snowshoeing.
