Hill running 53:17 [3] 8.31 km (6:25 / km) +230m 5:38 / km
shoes: Arctic Claw 300

Set off up past Dryden wood (what's left of it) then continued up the Dryden burn onto the top of Dryden Felll with the intention of doing a loop back over Commonside - unfortunately my headtorch died just before the top so had to use plan B. Picked my way down a ride onto the Falnash forest road - headtorch giving about 5-6s of light if switched on occasionally. Better once on the road. Managed to spot the tree fallen across the road but misjudged where the cattle grid was at the forest exit - it is further up the hill than I expected and I was across before I knew it was there, amazingly without incident! Also a problem spotting a black dog in the dark - only ran into him once (or should I say he ran into me)

Skelfhill Pen & Phaup forest - Jess "broken" so had to run with Doug and the twae dugs. Got to the top in 38.22 with Doug at least a minute ahead - fastest for a while.

Enough running and too much food and drink in the last few days - need a rest from all 3 activities!
