shoes: X-Talon 212 (SF)

Feel the Burns hill race, Selkirk. Snow had all melted overnight so a bit muddy underfoot but nice conditions otherwise. Solid run - about 1 min slower than last year but no battle with KJ this year to spur me on (he had a cold). Couple of mins behind Kenny. Doug 2nd. 38th, 3rd V50 (first V60 on 2.14 - only 45 days to go!)

RR Club Champs, The Hirsel near Coldstream. Handicap score - I had to collect 16 out of 18 controls. Lots of possible options - changed my mind several times on the way round. Finished 1st - my first time as RR club champ. Lovely crisp, sunny winters day.

Birkiebrae, Falnash & Lairhope forest with Murphy. Ran a lot of the way in bright moonlight so didn't need my headtorch - until I got hit by a snow shower for about 15 mins!
