night ride out to pick up car
through glenrock, then great north walk around charlie golf club where my light conveniently gave up life.
NOTE TO SELF - Battery charging is not just for suckers, it may prevent you having to abandon the dirt tracks in favour of blindly following the less dark form of the fairway while crossing fingers that you dont find the bunker, or worse the creek.
Eventually made it to the road after what seemed like about 5 laps of the full 18 holes

happy to have leveled up the series 3-3 with lazydave

felt better than last sundays classic
lost some time at 1 which dented the confidence, steady run through to the 2nd last one where i switched off and managed to lose over 4mins
classic #2 under the 2hr goal for the week

only significant time losses at 15 and 16
good to get one back on blatcho after going down by 7secs on tues

stopped for a dip then stupidly went for the no shoes option back around to the car park ... i immediately regret my decision

the odds of making the 2hr goal were blowing out into the thousands as the legs slowed to a graceful penguin-like blod for the last third.
good thing i finished it, considering rob's adventures after passing me twice early on

such a good day had to go for a cruise around the beaches.
chaos out there as everyone else was hitting the beach at the 1st sign of hot weather. couldnt help myself and went for a dip at dixon on the way back. soo good, water will have to warm up a bit more for me to make it a regular thing after work again
