Orienteering 35:02 [4]*** 5.85 km (5:59 / km)
ahr:185 max:195 spiked:12/15c shoes: Asics Gel Torana
Simon's Peg race. Could have done better. I was leading at one stage, but stuffed up the next control, only to have everyone else catch up. It was a very fast race.
Orienteering 20:17 [3]*** 2.43 km (8:21 / km)
ahr:160 max:181 spiked:12/16c shoes: Asics Gel Torana
Susanne's sprintervals. Went to the wrong first control with Simon. Was slow on these as my ankle was getting a bit sore from running on lots of rocky ground.
C • Susanne's a tricky one isn'... 1
Orienteering race 54:45 [3]* 9.04 km (6:03 / km)
ahr:154 max:195 shoes: Asics Gel 1130
Summer series at Victor Harbor. Did the long course, but should have done the medium as I felt like crap after the mornings training. Too many hills and no route choice. Walked up some of the hills, and ankle still a little sore.

Friday Feb 22

Orienteering 26:23 [3]*** 3.93 km (6:43 / km)
ahr:180 max:195 spiked:8/11c shoes: Asics Gel Torana
Arrows Camp. Jenny's Night O. Did pretty well except for the last control, which was on a rock in green which isn't mapped properly.

Thursday Feb 21

Running hills 58:48 [4]12.06 km (4:53 / km)
ahr:176 max:194 shoes: Asics Gel 1130
Belair. Felt really good, probably from not too much running lately. Ran with the group to the top of long gully, then went with Zara on a longer run than the others. I was able to go faster than normal as we didn't have to wait for the slower ones, and also didn't stop as much.

Tuesday Feb 19

Orienteering 1:35:22 [3]5.83 km (16:21 / km)
ahr:136 shoes: Asics Gel Torana
Went to Canunda National Park to check it out for a potential map. Some parts have open sand dunes, which are hard to run up, and other parts are vegetated dunes like cantara, but thicker and very hard to get through. At one stage it took us 15 mins to go 200m. One area was interesting with calcrete formations, but wasn't very big.

Monday Feb 18

Orienteering 1:03:26 [3]**** 3.33 km (19:03 / km)
ahr:130 max:170 shoes: Asics Gel Torana
Went to Cantara to check out how it has changed for course setting there later in the year. It has become thicker in parts and was tough to get through. It is still just as hard to navigate there.

Sunday Feb 17

Orienteering 43:00 [3]*** 3.86 km (11:08 / km)
ahr:162 max:192 spiked:3/6c shoes: Asics Gel Torana
Simon's technical training at Pewsey Vale. Got home at 4am from a night out and got up at 6.30. Susanne and Lachlan told me I was too drunk too drive them there, so Jenny was picking us up. When we got there, I didn't know why I got up, because i felt like crap. Since I was there I decided to go out anyway. I did the first course with Tristan, I did the first 4 then he did the next 4, then we alternated. It was a tricky course and we both had trouble at times. Didn't feel too bad when I was out there, but could still taste the alcohol and everyone could smell it.
Orienteering 16:27 [3]*** 2.02 km (8:09 / km)
ahr:168 max:191 shoes: Asics Gel Torana
Simon's sprintervals. Didn't feel too bad on these, but it was getting too hot. I was actually running pretty fast, Lachlan was surprised. Made a couple of mistakes on the first one, but was clean on the second. After the second I was too hot and stuffed, so I walked back with Tristan and didn't do the last 2.
