Bridgewater run, Tanahmerah rd loop plus bowling green lane.

I suggested this loop as it is tough, but found it a bit easier than normal. Was surprised that the others decided to add the extra loop on at the end, but it was good to get a bit more distance. Pace was a bit quicker than last week, but struggled a little bit towards the end, especially up the last hill in mt george.

Note

My left ankle does not pull up well from these long runs, or any runs really. Unless I can somehow afford daily physio, or at least after every run, I am not sure how much longer I can continue doing this. A bit concerned how it will go on the rough ground in the Flinders.

Just went to check my bike to ride to work tomorrow and the front tyre is flat again! I think I have found the problem, a thorn stuck in the tyre which is now removed.

To work. Got some lube when I got the new tubes and it seemed so much easier today. It was a bit quicker than it has been too.

Ride home. Northerly wind was not very nice and slowed me down a bit. Got another puncture, that tube only lasted 29km.

Note

Was going to ride to work today, but went to get on my bike this morning and the front tyre had a puncture. No spare tube, so got a couple on the way home.

Morialta run with Jenny. We both didn't want to do too much tonight, so went to the top of first falls and then down the other side.

Ankles were very stiff at the start, but felt better from the lookout.
