Pewsey Vale OY.
Struggled a bit today, especially on the hills after being sick during the week. Slog up the hill to 1 was tough. Saw Andrew running the wrong way down the spur at 3. Managed to find the standard TT misplaced control at 5. Went a bit offline to 12, but ended up being an easier approach. Should have gone around to 17, straight was too slow. Dropped a bit low on 22, which was my only error in the circle.
In general a bit slow. Ankles held up well, although a bit hesitant on rocks and felled pines. Thought the navigation was too easy for Pewsey Vale and much better control sites could've been used. Also very little route choice, I relised 8-9 that it was the first leg with choice and not much after that.
Fi wasn't too concerned that I went against TT committee to use SI for Mulga Valley. She thought SI doubled the work for the course planner, don't know where she would have got that idea from, probably Jeffa making up things. Now the question is do I go with TT tradition and put a control in the wrong spot?
