Note

Have now booked flights to NZ for Oceania/WMG. Will have to see which NOL races I can get to/afford to go to next year.

To Glenelg and back with Richard, Colin and Haydn. Running Friday night has set my ankle back a few days, so it is not up to a long run yet. Did not want to get out of bed this morning and almost skipped this too, but realised I would feel better once I started. Glad I did, it was a nice day to be out and a great ride. Speed was fast most of the time and had to wait a few times for Colin to catch up. Coffee stop at Glenelg marina, then slog home up NE rd with a slight headwind. Nice riding with others for once and being able to draft and get a break.

Summer series at Colonel Light Gardens. Scatter 20 controls.

Ankle is not quite 100% and in the first few mins was worried I wouldn't make it around, but it got better and not too bad by the end. Struggled in the last couple of kms, just tired from a long week I think.

To work. Ankle is feeling a bit better, so thought trying a ride would be good. Riding was fine, but putting my foot down when stopped at lights wasn't good.

Lifting heavy doors all day. I personally have to build 196 heavy doors that have to be sent to the customer before Christmas. I have now done 12.

This is the first of 13 stages on this project for this customer, if we do this one well, we get to do the rest. I haven't decided if that is a good or bad thing yet.

Home from work. Stuffed after a long physical day at work, but a strong SW wind pushed me along quickly. When I realised about half way how quick I was going, I decided to push a bit harder to try to get under 34 mins. Went harder than I wanted to up my street and just got there for a new PB and first time over 30km/h avg for the ride home.

Stopped at the top of my driveway for a minute to get my breath back. I am stuffed!

Had a bit of trouble walking at work this morning and thought about leaving early, but ankle loosened up during the day and wasn't too bad by the time I left.
