Bridgewater run. Only Jenny, Zara and I this morning with everyone in NZ. A bit slower pace than normal out to Bowling Green lane, then Jenny cut it short and Zara and I went out to Greenhill rd and down Gully rd at a bit faster pace. It was a nice run and a great day for it, didn't want anything faster or too much longer after a big week.

Home from work.

Got a call from a friend with free tickets to the basketball which started at 5, so had to get picked up at 4. Had to ride fast to get home and get ready. Ended up with 2nd fastest time.

Summer series at Blackwood Park. Scater course 20 controls.

Felt very tired when I got to the event and wasn't sure about getting 20, but felt ok when I got started. Ankle didn't like the steep down hills. Was never sure of my route and always changing my mind and doubting myself. In the end I don't think I could've saved too much distance and had a very similar route to AK.

To work. New pedals don't squeek, yay! A bit cool at home, but quite warm on the plains.

Home from work. Started raining just as I got on the bike, but only last a minute. Tired, but still quick.

Got hit by a car as I was going up GJ past the velodrome. Put my arm out to change lanes and a 4wd went past too close and hit it. I can't stick my arm out further than 1 metre from the bike, so he was obviously too close. Almost got hit again when a woman tried to cut me off when I was going straight and she wanted to turn left, I swore loudly in her open window and she stopped in the middle of the straight ahead lane.

Sick of people not willing to wait 2 seconds for a bike!
