Navy Weapons Station Mountain bike ride. Goal was to do the whole thing in under 1 hour. They made the trail a little longer than 12.25.
Chilly at 40F.
Avg speed 12.25 mph (pretty fast)

NWS ride/run. warmed up for run about 45F.
Legs were heavy at first. Did lots of bush wacking.

Friday Feb 6, 2009 #

Easy run to the PT run test area. Ran .8 over there and .8 back. Did 1.5 mile test in between. HR is for 1.5 mile run only.

1.5 mile run time was 9:54
Was at 6:35 at 1 mile.
50F and windy felt like 45F.
Had hard cough after exercise.

Wednesday Feb 4, 2009 #

After work run. very cold and very windy. 36F felt like 27F winds 15-20mph.
Ran to trail did 1 lap then ran thru other woods for about 1 mile then 3 loops on trail and then back home.

I wore the underarmour and that kept my lungs quite warm.

52F and breezy. felt cool.
unsure if max HR is correct.
Ran with Dr. Kennard.

Pre Super Bowl run. 48F

Had planned to do 2 laps of McCombs way but felt very bloated and started having stomach cramps very badly. Most likely from good recoverite drink (2 glasses) about 1 hr earlier. So decided to try 2 miles instead.
